Paddle boats and canoes may be closed in inclement weather.
Private boats with not more than 3 HP electric motors are allowed
on the lake.
FISHING
Fishing is only permitted in Central Park Lake between
the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. All rules and regulations
set by the State Fish and Game Department apply. The limit of
not more than 5 bass, 5 trout or 10 fish of any species shall be taken
each day. The five species common to our lake are bass, catfish, blue
gill,
crappie, and carp. All persons 16 years and over must hold a valid
state
fishing license. The City sponsors two fishing derbies a year,
one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
There will be NO FISHING five days prior to the derby,
a "NO FISHING" notice will be posted.
